Hi! This is my family!
Thank you so much for coming to my page! I am Jes, and this snazzy group of people I am with is my little family. That good-looking dude is my husband. He is a singer-songwriter; check him out on Instagram at @kjcherry_. Our two medium-sized humans are also creatives and are currently working out their favorite ways of expression. I love being able to create art with each of them, and I hope to share it here with you.
Why Jes?
My husband always teases me about spelling my name wrong because instead of the traditional “Jess,” I go with “Jes” (like “Yes!”). At least that’s my excuse… but the real truth is, I’ve always been too lazy to write out “Jessica” fully, so I just sign off as J-E-S. Call it a shortcut or a signature move—either way, it’s me. 😜
Also, here’s a photo of me at Bonnaroo last year! I just loved how my makeup turned out—it felt like the perfect festival vibe. Hopefully I will return to ROO next year, lets pray it doesn't get canceled again.✨🎶
Outside of Art
Aside from art I just graduated with my Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I now work as a therapist with a primary focus in helping parents. My long term goals is to write a book on parenting and maybe go for my doctorate ;)
