Hi! This is my family!
Thank you so much for coming to my page! I am Jes, and this snazzy group of people I am with is my little family. That good-looking dude is my husband. He is a singer-songwriter; check him out on Instagram at @kjcherry_. Our two medium-sized humans are also creatives and are currently working out their favorite ways of expression. I love being able to create art with each of them, and I hope to share it here with you.
Why Jes?
My husband always tells me I spell my name wrong all the time because instead of using the traditional Jess spelling, I spell my name Jes, like Yes! At least that is what I tell him but in reality, when I sign my name I am to lazy to spell out Jessica and I always have shortened it to j-e-s. Also enjoy this photo of me at Bonnaroo last year. I really liked my makeup.
Outside of Art
Aside from art I just graduated with my Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I now work as a therapist with a primary focus in helping parents. My long term goals is to write a book on parenting and maybe go for my doctorate ;)
